Tasman Secondary School Sport (TSSS) support a range of diverse, inclusive and and engaging inter-school and regionl sport opportunities through the TSSS Calendar, designed to meet rangatahi needs, increase participation and satisfaction rates. The Regional Sports Director (RSD) role, delivered through Sport Tasman, facilitates these events on behalf of schools.
We also support sports staff at our member schools through professional development and connection opportunities and advocate for the value of sport within schools by supporting schools to align sport to education outcomes and integrate into school strategic goals and values.
We encourage collaboration between schools and sports organisations to embed sector wide practices like Balance is Better, the Sport Pathways Framework and Positive Sideline Behaviour, into school sport programmes.
