Sport Tasman is proud to be managing Tū Manawa Active Aotearoa on behalf of Sport NZ in Te Tau Ihu – Top of the South.

Tū Manawa Active Aotearoa provides funding for programmes or projects delivering play, active recreation and sport experiences for tamariki and rangatahi. These may be new or already operating.

We know from research that there are some groups who are more at risk of missing out or being less active, including those living with a disability, in higher deprivation communities and girls and young women. Programmes or projects that reach these groups will be prioritised for funding.

We welcome applications for this fund for sport, active recreation and play projects from eligible organisations. Before you submit an application please ensure you read all the information available on this page and we encourage you to contact us directly to discuss your proposed project.

Tū Manawa Active Aotearoa Fast Fund up to a maximum of $10K and Full Fund (10K to 30K) will open on 1st April 2023 and this round will close Friday 28th April 2023.
