In October 2011 Nelson hosted the South Island Masters Games for the very first time.
Nearly 3,000 people of all ages (mostly 30+ yrs) and abilites took part. With some 50 sporting events over 9 days and a social programme to fill each evening it was a phenomenal success.
Register for the 2012 South Island Masters Games in Timaru being held from 6 - 14 October.
The Games are coming back to Nelson in 2013 and we are looking forward to hosting even more people and putting on an even bigger social programme!
