Sport Tasman
Sport Tasman Sport and Recreation teams work with organisations throughout the region to ensure:
- More participation - more people regularly participating in sport and recreation
- More capability - better capability of sport and recreation organisations
- More opportunity - develop sport and recreation opportunities across the region
In doing this Sport Tasman staff work to
- Develop fundamental movement and sport skills in the 0-12 year age group
- Increase numbers of children and adults in organised sport and recreation
- Have competent organisations delivering sport and recreation in the community
- Increase rthe quality and quantity of coaches and volunteers
