SPARC Sport Volunteer Awards
Date: 01/08/2012
Venue: Regional
The annual SPARC Sport Volunteer Awards provide an opportunity to nominate a worthy sport volunteer by acknowledging the time and energy that they put into grassroots sport in every community throughout New Zealand.
Eligible nominees include: coaches, referees, administrators, fundraisers, kit washers or other community sport volunteers that have volunteered in the 12 months leading up to the Awards.
There are three nomination categories:
- Wattie’s Student Sport Volunteer Category – for volunteers aged 18 years or younger
- SPARC Sport Volunteer Award – for volunteers aged 19 years or older
- Lifetime Achievement Award – for those who’ve given more than 25 years of service as a volunteer in a sporting environment
All nominees are invited to one of two Awards presentations in either Marlborough or Nelson. One winner is selected for each award category both in Nelson and in Marlborough and each category winner receives sports store vouchers.
Congratulations to all nomonees for this year Awards and a huge "well done" to our winners. Click here for a full report on this years Awards.
