Way to GET ACTIVE!

Sport Tasman together with Pelorus Trust were pleased to see you motivated, active and out there enjoying exercise on Sunday, 19 April.  Well done to each of you for completing a 10km event. Some were training for upcoming half marathons, others were being active with friends and family while some of you were challenging yourself and the competitive ones were trying to better last year's time.

Thanks Volunteers
A huge round of applause to our volunteers and Sport Tasman staff who marshaled along the course. They pointed participants in the right direction, watched out for cars and hazards and cheered people on along the way. They also helped out with setting up and getting participants registered onsite.

With 350 participants we were pleased to see a jump in the number or people participating this year and getting active.

PhotosThanks Sponsors
We have heaps of great photos on the Sport Tasman Facebook page.

Thanks Sponsors
A big thank you to our major sponsor Pelorus Trust as well as everyone who donated spot prizes.

Winners
Congratulations to our 50 lucky spot prize winners who walked away with some great prizes including our major spot prize - a pair of runners from Smiths Sports Shoes in Nelson. Congratulations to the active family who won the 3 generation prize that was open to all participants who had three generations of their family participating. We hope they enjoy their weekend getaway in Golden Bay thanks to Mohua Motels.

Under Construction
A post event survey has been sent to all participants. Thanks to everyone who's been providing comments and suggestions. We've had some great ideas coming in for next year's event so stay tuned for an event better City2Saxton in 2016.
